Suzuki has announced the price for the Splash. The 3.72 meter long small car will be on sale from the end of April for just under 10,000 euros.

Suzuki will be launching the successor to the Wagon R + at the end of April. The new Microvan takes a step back from the angular design of its predecessor and becomes a charming city runabout, which the Japanese also want to underline with a new name: In future, the five-seater developed and produced with Opel will be called Splash, the manufacturer announced at the launch in Cannes. According to Suzuki, there is a small car that is 3.72 meters long and only 1.59 meters high, the basic version of which is equipped with ABS and four airbags as standard. All other variants also get the anti-skid ESP, two side curtain airbags and air conditioning. The car has a trunk volume of 202 liters, which can be expanded to 1050 liters by folding down the rear seat.

At the start, Suzuki is offering the Splash with two petrol and one diesel. The entry-level model is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 48 kW / 65 PS, which accelerates the car to 100 km / h in 14.7 seconds, reaches a top speed of 160 km / h, consumes an average of 5.0 liters and 120 Emits grams of CO2 per kilometer.

Above this is a four-cylinder with a displacement of 1.2 liters, which is on the list with 63 kW / 86 PS, 12.3 seconds, 175 km / h, 5.5 liters and 131 g / km. As an alternative to the manual five-speed gearshift, there is also a four-speed automatic for this engine. For the diesel, Suzuki relies on a standard filtered four-cylinder with 1.3 liter displacement and 55 kW / 75 PS.
