Jaguar is strengthening its six-cylinder engines. The new twin-turbo engines are offered in two power levels.
A new diesel engine will be installed in the Jaguar XF from April. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine is available for the upper mid-range sedan in two output levels with 177 kW / 240 PS and 202 kW / 275 PS; the previously available 2.7-liter V6 diesel is no longer available. In the entry-level version, the new twin-turbo engine has a maximum torque of 500 Nm, according to the manufacturer, consumption is 6.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, the sprint from standstill to 100 km / h takes 7.1 seconds, the top speed is 240 km / h.

The more powerful version with a maximum torque of 600 Nm takes 6.4 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h with the same fuel consumption and reaches a maximum speed of electronically limited 250 km / h. A six-speed automatic transmission takes care of the power transmission. The price list starts at 51,200 euros for the weaker version, the top diesel model is available from 54,400 euros. (mid)
