When buying a new car, it's not just the purchase price that counts. Rather, it depends on the additional costs. The ADAC has now calculated which cars are particularly cheap to drive.
Anyone who buys a new car should not only pay attention to the purchase price. How much the vehicle ultimately costs you per month is determined, for example, by workshop, tire, insurance and operating costs. That is why the ADAC has calculated how much a car ultimately costs the user. The automobile club has based this on a holding period of four years and an annual mileage of 15,000 kilometers.
The ADAC car cost calculation shows that it is particularly cheap for the smallest car, a Kia Picanto 1.0to drive a Skoda Octavia 1.6 LPG in the middle class and a Range Rover Sport 3.0 TD in the luxury class. While you have to raise 328 euros per month for the Kia Picanto, it is 1147 euros for the Range Rover.

According to the automobile club, the Toyota Aygo 1.0, the structurally identical Citroën C1, the Daihatsu Cuore 1.0 and the Nissan Pixo 1.0 occupy the top positions in the small car class with monthly expenses between 328 and 344 euros.
In the small car class, drivers have to buy a Dacia Sandero 1.2, a Kia Rio 1.2, a Toyota Yaris 1.0, a Suzuki Swift 1.2 or the Skoda Fabia 1.2. Calculate between 28 and almost 30 cents per kilometer. A monthly amount of between 352 and 372 euros comes together here.
For a kilometer price of 32 to 38 cents or 409 to 472 euros per month, the Dacia Logan MCV 1.6, Dacia Duster 1.6 LPG, Lada Priora 2171 1.6 LPG, Honda Civic 1.4 and Honda Insight 1.3 can be driven in the lower middle class.
Skoda Octavia 1.6 LPG to be recommended
According to the ADAC, anyone interested in affordable mid-range cars ends up with the Skoda Octavia 1.6 LPG, Nissan Qashqai 1.6, Mitsubishi ASX 1.6, the Kia Sportage 1.6 and the Nissan NV200 1.5 dCi. Here, between 40 and 44 cents per kilometer or 497 to 546 euros per month are due.
When looking at the upper mid-range, the Skoda Superb 1.6 TDI, the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0, the Subaru Legacy Kombi 2.0 D, the Renault Latitude 2.0 E 85 and the Mazda CX-7 2.2 CD are the first choice, for the total monthly costs of 591 to 757 euros are incurred.
If you want to drive a Range Rover Sport 3.0 TD, Audi Q7 3.0 TDI, Porsche Cayenne Diesel, Mercedes R 300 CDI or the Porsche Panamera Diesel, you can expect total costs of 1147 to 1355 euros per month when buying a luxury-class model. That corresponds to a kilometer price of a painful 92 cents to 1.08 euros. It has always been a bit more expensive to have a special taste. (AG / FM)
