The manufacturers have announced almost 150 new models for 2007. We present the new products to you in five parts. Part three: Everything from Jeep to Mazda.
Jeep is coming to Europe with three new products. And Maserati joins the crowd too. Not to forget Kia with the great hope Cee'd. The overview from Jeep to Mazda.
jeep

The three new models that Jeep is offering in Europe in 2007 have long been on the road in the USA on highways and off-road. The beginning in March is the rather rounded Compass, for which VW is supplying a 140 hp diesel and which will also be available with a 170 hp petrol engine - at prices from just under 24,000 euros. One month later, in April, Jeep also delivers the four-door Jeep Wrangler to Europe. And finally, in August, the Patriot follows, which is based on the same platform as the Compass.
Kia

Kia already presented it at the Paris Motor Show in autumn with great effort - in January it is finally available for purchase: the Cee'd. The 4.24 meter long compact is primarily intended to poach in the golf area - and after the first impression it has what it takes. The Cee'd is the first Kia to be built entirely in Europe. Initially, it will be available in three petrol and two diesel versions from a base price of 14,800 euros. The station wagon and the sporty three-door variant will follow in October. Otherwise, Kia is planning a facelift for the Picanto in October and one for the Opirus in August.
Lamborghini

There is only one date - at least temporarily - in the Lamborghini calendar. The Murciélago LP 640 Roadster will therefore be available to buy from March. If you have at least 270,000 euros left. There is then 640 hp, an acceleration in 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h and - with the roof closed - 330 km / h top. With the roof open, you should not drive over 200 km / h, taking into account your forehead, eardrum and your emotional state.
Lancia
Lancia is taking its time until the end of the year - only then are two facelifts due. The updates for the Phedra and the Musa are due in November.
Land Rover

Friends of the rugged off-roaders from the island will have to wait until March - then the Freelander II will come to the dealers. The second generation has been thoroughly revised and costs from 31,000 euros. Under the hood, there are initially two engines to choose from: a diesel with four cylinders and 160 hp and an in-line six-cylinder petrol engine with 233 hp. As early as January, the British were working hard with the Range Rover Sport TD V8: 200 kW / 272 PS and a maximum torque of 640 Nm are waiting.
Lexus

Toyota's premium brand is already making a big splash in Europe in January: The LS 460 is to collect points - and sales successes - in the luxury class. It will then take until summer for the hybrid version of the LS to be available from dealers. 450 HP from a V8 engine plus a powerful electric motor should attract well-heeled customers to the LS 600h from July. Just in time for the end of the year, Lexus will push the IS 500 in December - with around 350 hp and eight cylinders.
Maserati

When Maserati equips the Quattroporte with a new 6-speed automatic in February, the Italians will also give their family athletes a moderate facelift. In June, Maserati finally brought out the coupé with a 450 hp V8 engine.
Mazda

Zoom, zoom, zoom - right at the beginning of the year Mazda turns it up and sends three new products into the running for buyers' favor. In January, the MX-5 will also be available with a fixed retractable roof in line with fashion - but the version with the cloth cap will still be available. The Mazda3 MPS is intended for the little athletes - with not that small power. After all, the GTI rival gets a whopping 260 hp from the compact engine compartment and creates a top speed of 250 km / h. The pickup BT-50 is intended for the more rustic-oriented clientele. But then you have to wait until the IAA in September. Then comes the Tribute successor, the CX-7also to Europe. The all-wheel drive is already driving in the USA. The 2.3 liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine develops 244 hp.
