From February 25, Ford will bring the Focus with a facelift on the market. The actually much more clearly revised van is sold at prices from 15,000 euros. As Ford board member Jürgen Stackmann emphasizes, various engines and equipment variants are offered cheaper in the new version than in the predecessor.
The Cologne-based carmaker has also launched the revised Focus as a three- and five-door, station wagon and notchback sedan. Ford will add the focus as a coupé-convertible in spring. There is a choice of ten engines. The six petrol and four diesel engines have an output in the range between 59 kW / 80 PS and 166 kW / 225 PS.
But Ford is not holding back the real novelties. It will take some time before the extremely economical Focus Econetic is offered. Interested parties will also have to wait a little longer for the dual-clutch transmission, which Ford will use for the first time in the two-liter diesel. (AG)
