First compact model with five stars
The mode in particular should retain its status. In August 2004, the compact model was the first vehicle in its class to achieve the highest rating of five stars. In order to ensure that this remains the case in the future, the anti-skid with understeer control USC and traction control ASR are standard equipment in every engine and equipment variant, the manufacturer announced in Brühl.
In addition to passive safety, customers can now choose between three petrol and two diesel engines. The power spectrum ranges from 55 kW / 75 PS to 82 kW / 112 PS. In addition, Modus and Grand Modus in the Dynamique 1.2 16V equipment variant can also be ordered with the Quickshift-5 automated five-speed manual transmission. (AG)
