The Ford Galaxy completed the NCAP crash test with the best rating of five stars. The van also excelled in terms of child protection.
The Ford Galaxy has followed suit. After the current Ford Focus and the S-Max, the Ford Galaxy MPV is the third Ford model series to receive the best rating in the Euro NCAP crash test with five stars.
Also convincing as a right-hand drive
The test vehicle, a right-hand drive, was also able to convince in simulations for left-hand drive vehicles. In addition, the Galaxy achieved the best result that a right-hand drive model has ever achieved in this test.
In terms of child safety, the new Ford Galaxy received four stars in the Euro NCAP test. The reason for this excellent classification was not least the three-point child seat anchoring according to the Isofix standard on the two outside seats in the second row of seats. With 15 points or two stars, the new Ford Galaxy also presents a result in terms of “pedestrian protection” that secures it a top position in its class.
