AC Schnitzer drives the BMW M3 Cabriolet to new records. The tuning specialists leave the engine untouched.
AC Schnitzer gives the BMW M3 Convertible a plus in sportiness. The specialists from Aachen completely disregard the 309 kW / 420 PS eight-cylinder in the ACS3 Sport Cabriolet. "With our Nordschleife-tested racing chassis, we sound out the driving physics perfectly," says Manfred Wollgarten from AC Schnitzer. Air inlets and a rear diffuser made of carbon ensure further sportiness on the asphalt.

And of course, the convertible has to adapt to its looks. The new front apron has a chrome-plated grid insert that is strictly segmented into rectangles. It makes the vehicle look particularly beefy and noble. The spoiler lip in carbon with the optional aluminum supports also signals a sporty presence. And of course the power dome shouldn't be missing.
20 inch lightweight forged rims fill the wheel arches and, with their narrow spokes, provide an optimal view of the 8-piston high-performance braking system. They should not be used if the sound of the sports rear silencer with chrome-plated tailpipes is to come into its own in «racing». Then the driver and front passenger can lean back with relish in the specially designed interior and enjoy the hunt. (AG)
