In the automotive market, the currently difficult economic framework conditions caused the discount level on the German car market to rise slightly in November. New car buyers could expect an average price reduction of 16.5 percent, which corresponds to an increase of 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous month. The Center of Automotive Research (CAR) at the University of Duisburg-Essen counted a total of 248 discount campaigns in November, eight of them with a discount of more than 20 percent.
