BMW got off to a good start in the new year. The car sales of the Munich based company increased in January compared to the previous year by 6.6 percent to 112,163 vehicles. The next few months should also bring sales increases, as the company announced on Wednesday. The hopes are particularly on the
new generation of the top-selling 3 series. It will be launched worldwide in mid-February. Further new models are expected to provide another boost in sales in the second half of the year.
Mini with sales growth of twelve percent
The models from the British subsidiary Mini were particularly well received in January. Sales soared by almost 12 percent to 15,768 cars.
