Land Rover presents a special model of its classic at the AMI in Leipzig. The Defender Experience also indicates the new adventure tour for the coming year.
At the anniversary AMI in Leipzig, Land Rover is presenting a special model of the Defender, which the company will retire in a few years. At the 20th edition in the East German trade fair city, the Defender Experience is the highlight at the British automaker's stand. The Defender 110 SW TD4 Experience was mainly used for optical retouching.
Unusual comfort
The 90 kW / 122 PS Defender with the 2.4 liter common rail diesel is painted completely in "Santorini Black". Air conditioning, Recaro front seats and black leather upholstery with silver stitching on the sports steering wheel and gear knob ensure comfort in the purist interior.
The prices start at 39,900 euros and thus promise a price advantage of 5842 euros compared to a comparable series model.
Save fuel in Freelander
At the same time, the starting gun will be given for the upcoming Land Rover Experience Tour, which in 2011 will lead through the rainforest and mountain peaks of Bolivia. On the outside area in front of Hall 2, applicants can demonstrate their driving skills, teamwork and skills and thus collect points for qualification.
In the Freelander TD4_e, visitors to the 20th AMI will once again have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of an automatic start-stop system while driving through Leipzig city center during the fuel-saving lesson. (AG)
