Toyota has redesigned its Aygo microcar. Nothing has changed visually, but the little Japanese gets a modified engine.
For the 2011 model year, Toyota has now presented the slightly revised Aygo at the Paris Salon (until October 17). Nothing has changed visually. The most notable modification in the micro vehicle is the multimedia system. The TomTom navigation system, which can be removed from the docking station in the dashboard if necessary, is operated via the 4.3-inch touchscreen.
Lower exhaust emissions
The multimedia equipment of the system includes a Bluetooth interface for the mobile phone and a USB port for connecting to MP3 players. The navigation system works with GPS technology and contains maps for Western Europe. It also informs the driver about tourist attractions along the route, for example. In addition, the Japanese have reduced the exhaust emissions of the 1.0-liter VVT-i gasoline engine. The three-cylinder now emits just 103 g / km instead of 106 grams of CO2 per kilometer. (mid)
