At the end of April, BMW will be showing the long version of the new five. The sedan with the wheelbase increased by 14 centimeters was developed exclusively for the Chinese market.

With a wheelbase that has grown by 14 centimeters, the new long version of the BMW 5 Series Sedan will be on show at Auto China in Beijing from April 23 to May 2. The 5.04 meter long version of the upper middle class, developed exclusively for the Chinese market, is designed primarily for wealthy rear passengers with a chauffeur. They can look forward to the gain in space, which is mainly of benefit to them, as well as a comfort bench.

Long list of surcharges

A large number of the chargeable features such as the four-zone automatic air conditioning, the rear entertainment system, electric sun blinds for the rear side windows and a fold-out table integrated in the backrest are intended to increase the well-being of the rear occupants.

The engine range includes three in-line six-cylinder engines with outputs between 150 kW / 204 PS and 225 kW / 306 PS. All drives are linked to an eight-speed automatic as standard. The upper middle graders rolled over to the dealers in September. Prices are not yet known. (mid)
