Ford has now launched a three-door model variant of the new Fiesta geared towards sportiness. There is a choice of three engine variants between 90 and 120 hp.
The small car has a sports chassis that has been lowered by nine millimeters with shortened springs, harder shock absorbers and a sporty rear axle. The ESP stability program intervenes later and can be switched off entirely if required. The optics have also been trimmed accordingly. Inside there are, among other things, sports seats with reinforced lateral support as well as a steering wheel and gear lever with leather applications. The grille, front apron and roof spoiler have been made more aggressive. 16-inch light-alloy wheels in "5 by 2" spoke design complete the outfit.

The colors can only be chosen between anthracite and blue. There is a choice of three engine variants from the well-known unit range - two petrol and one diesel - each in combination with a five-speed manual transmission. The Otto engines produce 71 kW / 96 PS with a 1.4 liter displacement and 88 kW / 120 PS with a 1.6 liter displacement. The maximum speed is 175 km / h or 193 km / h. The 1.6 liter TDCi diesel has 66 kW / 90 hp and sprints up to 175 km / h. The Fiesta Sport with the smaller petrol engine is available for 15,250 euros, the other two engines are available for 16,500 euros each. (mid)
