Audi completes the A6 series. The third edition of the Allroad Quattro will be driving on impassable paths from spring.

Audi is preparing the start of the third edition of the Allroad Quattro. The off-road combination is approaching its market launch in spring. As with the production A6, the Allroad Quattro has also reduced fuel consumption by up to 20 percent.

The new Audi A6 Allroad has lost 70 kilos

As with the sedan, the lightweight construction was also used in the 4.94 meter long off-road suit, so that the Allroad Quattro, which is slightly larger than the Avant, lost 70 kilograms. The Allroad Quattro is six centimeters higher than the standard station wagon.

Sills with attachment strips and stainless steel covers as underbody protection in the front and rear set the Allroad apart from the usual Avant. Two tailpipes and a special roof rail make for further differences.

Numerous special equipment for the Audi A6 Allroad

The interior hardly differs from the production models, even if the entry sills greet the passengers with the "allroad" logo. The interior color Santos brown refers to the color of the surface on which the station wagon with permanent all-wheel drive can move easily. For the march into the terrain, the luggage can be stored in a volume of 565 liters, which can be expanded up to 1680 liters.

Optional extras are available from head-up displays to comfort seats and numerous driver assistance systems, which also turn the price list into a small telephone book for the sedan and the Avant.
