The car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz continues to grow. In November, the Stuttgart-based company was able to sell 113,859 vehicles worldwide, an increase of 8.3 percent compared to the same month last year. The Swabians have never been able to sell so many cars in November.
With 1,136,525 million (plus 7.3 percent) units, Mercedes was also able to set a new record in the first eleven months of the year. “With record sales in November, we have now sold more cars for over two years in a row than in the same months of the previous year. This shows that we are doing well with Mercedes-Benz and that our products are very popular,”said Mercedes Sales Director Joachim Schmidt.
Mercedes-Benz Cars also set a record
As Schmidt added, it is already clear that Mercedes will achieve its goal of selling more vehicles for the full year than ever before. Schmidt was also able to look forward to a record figure at Mercedes-Benz Cars: 1,230,863 (plus 7.1 percent) Mercedes-Benz and Smart Fortwo have been delivered to customers here in the year to date.

A total of 170,112 vehicles have been sold in China since January, an increase of 30.8 percent. It was also successful for Mercedes in the USA: Here sales increased by 47.2 percent to 26,796 units. This made the Stuttgart company the best-selling premium brand in the USA. Total sales in the USA are 219,491 (up 11.8 percent).
