Audi boss Martin Winterkorn has been honored for his services to the automobile. The manager received the "Golden Steering Wheel" in Berlin.
For his special services to the automobile, the CEO of Audi AG and designated VW boss, Martin Winterkorn, was awarded the “Golden Steering Wheel” by the newspaper “Bild am Sonntag” (BamS). Winterkorn has brought his company to the top of the automotive industry with all his energy in recent years, said BamS editor-in-chief Claus Strunz at the award ceremony on Wednesday evening in Berlin.
Mini among the winners
In addition to Winterkorn, the Mini (BMW Group) in the small car category, the Volvo C 30 (compact class), the Lexus IS (middle and upper class), the VW Eos (convertible), the Hymer B -Class (mobile homes) and the Mercedes Benz CL-Class (Coupe).
