Mazda is lowering the prices of the 5 Series at the start of the third generation. The design of the family van was renewed, the tried and tested concept was retained.
Mazda will launch the new generation of Mazda5 on October 16. The prices are significantly lower than for the predecessor: Instead of at least 22,370 euros for the comparably equipped model, the MPV is now available for 20,490 euros from dealers, the company announced on Thursday in Leverkusen. If you order by December 31, you will also receive an introductory bonus of 500 euros, Mazda continues.
Three engines to start
The Mazda 5 has a new design, but retains its sliding doors and the variable interior with three rows of seats. The seats in the third row can be lowered into the floor of the car and the seats in the second row can be moved or folded over. The trunk then grows from 426 liters with five upright seats to up to 1597 liters in the two-person configuration.
At the start there is the Mazda5 with three engines from the 1.8 liter gasoline engine with 85 kW / 115 PS to the gasoline direct injection engine with two liters displacement and 110 kW / 150 PS and start-stop system to the diesel, the 1.6 Liters displacement of 85 kW / 115 PS draws. (dpa / tmn)
