Kia expands the engine range at Sportage. One gasoline and one diesel each round off the range. A start-stop system can be ordered separately.
With a 1.7-liter diesel engine with 85 kW / 115 PS and a 1.6-liter gasoline direct injection engine with 100 kW / 136 PS, Kia has now expanded the engine range for the Sportage. The optional start-stop system costs around 300 euros extra. Both engines are only available with a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
5.2 liters consumption with diesel
The 1.6-liter direct-injection petrol engine, which is offered in the Sportage basic version from 19,950 euros, has an output of 100 kW / 136 hp and requires an average of 6.8 liters of Super per 100 kilometers. The CO2 value is 158 g / km. An automatic start-stop system can be ordered for the higher equipment "Vision" and "Spirit". With this, the consumption drops to 6.4 liters of petrol.
The 85 kW / 115 hp 1.7-liter diesel engine with the lowest equipment level "Attract" for 22,050 euros requires 5.3 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. The CO2 value is 139 g / km. With the "automatic switch-off", the diesel consumption drops to 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers. If you want to drive the Kia Sportage with all-wheel drive, you have to go for the 2.0-liter gasoline engine from 24,400 euros or the 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel from 25. Grab 600 euros. (mid)
