Nissan presents the revised version of the Murano SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show that begins on Friday. According to the Japanese automaker, the production model will come to Europe in mid-2008. The main external feature of the facelift is a modified front section with a striking radiator grille, strikingly cut headlights and new contours for the bonnet. There are also LED brake lights and a glass roof over the second row of seats.
Heated seats
The new equipment features include heated seats in the rear as well as a multi-media and navigation system with a built-in hard drive and reversing camera. The Murano is still powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine with 195 kW / 265 hp. According to information from Nissan Germany, there will also be a diesel engine for Europe in Brühl - but not directly for the market launch. While the Murano in the USA is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, in Europe it is still only offered in the all-wheel version. (dpa)
