Renault presented the new design language at the Paris Motor Show in autumn. With the help of the electrically operated study “DeZir”, the wishes of not only the designer are realized.
A sporty two-seater coupe with gullwing doors shows the new design language of future Renault models. The electrically powered study "DeZir" makes its debut at the Paris Salon (October 2 to 17). The name of the concept vehicle is based on the French word "Désir", which means "desire" or "desire".
No rear window
On the 4.23 meter long coupé, the most eye-catching feature is the wide, mustache-shaped grille, with the brand logo emblazoned in the middle. The grill is framed by narrow LED lights on the right and left. The huge 21-inch rims are emphasized by the muscular wheel arches. The two wing doors swing upwards in opposite directions and open access to the unusual interior.
The designers have completely dispensed with a rear window. Instead, two cameras show what is going on behind the car. The 830 kilogram study with a Kevlar body is powered by an electric motor with 110 kW / 150 PS, which is fed with energy by lithium-ion batteries. The range is 160 kilometers. If the batteries are empty, they can be recharged at the socket within eight hours. mid
