The end of the Easter holidays also means a lot of traffic jams. Drivers will have to be prepared for increased traffic over the coming weekend.
In the coming weekend, drivers will have to expect traffic jams in many places. According to the Auto Club Europa (ACE) in Stuttgart, travelers should expect an increased volume of traffic as early as Friday. The reason for the increased risk of traffic jams is the end of the Easter holidays in eleven federal states. Traffic jams are expected on the following routes:
- A 3 towards Frankfurt and towards Nuremberg
- A 5 towards Basel and towards Frankfurt
- A 6 towards Nuremberg and towards Mannheim
- A 7 towards Kempten and towards Hanover
- A 8 towards Salzburg and towards Karlsruhe
-A 9 Direction Berlin and direction Munich
A 93 direction Kiefersfelden and direction Rosenheim
- A 99 bypass Munich
Delays in road traffic should also be planned for in Austria. The Tauern autobahn (A 10), Inntal autobahn (A 12) and the Brenner autobahn are likely to be particularly affected. In Switzerland, traffic jams are particularly likely on the Gotthard route (A 2) and the San Bernardino route (A 13). (dpa)
