Toyota Auris Hybrid At The Price Of Diesel

Toyota will offer the Auris Hybrid at the price of the diesel model. The compact car will be available from dealers from September 18th.

On September 18, the Toyota Auris will roll out to German dealerships at prices from 22,950 euros. This means that the full hybrid is on par with an Auris with a 2.0-liter diesel engine. According to the manufacturer, the compact class consumes 3.8 liters per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 89 grams.

Comprehensive security package

A comprehensive safety package with seven airbags including a knee airbag for the driver, electronic hill start assist (HAC (Hill Assist Control), LED daytime running lights) is standard, as is automatic climate control, a high-quality audio package and 15-inch alloy wheels. In the Executive equipment line, the Auris Hybrid rolls on 17-inch rims, has a cruise control system, Bluetooth hands-free system, smart key system, rain sensor, automatic low-beam headlights and a continuously adjustable interior mirror with an integrated reversing monitor. The Auris Hybrid Executive is available in stores for 24,950 euros.

The Japanese manufacturer plans to sell every fifth Auris model as a hybrid on the European market. Both trim levels of the compact hybrid are manufactured in Burnaston, UK. (mid)
