Drivers must also continue to prepare for high fuel prices. On average, a liter of premium gasoline cost 1.42 euros. The ADAC speaks of price usury.

1.42 euros for liters of super

For one liter of premium gasoline, drivers currently have to pay an average of 1.421 euros. That is exactly the price that was asked a week ago. The price of a liter of diesel increased by 0.1 cents on average and is thus 1.19 euros nationwide. The ADAC advises motorists to always compare the prices at the petrol stations and to only refuel where it is cheapest.

At the beginning of the week, Federal President Horst Köhler said in Focus that higher fuel prices could help Germany achieve environmentally friendly economic growth. The Federal President had to take criticism from ADAC and Federal Transport Minister Peter Ramsauer. (AG)
