VW Brings Eos Special Model

Volkswagen is ahead of the times. The Wolfsburg-based company is now offering the special “Edition 2008” model of the Eos convertible coupé.

Volkswagen ushers in the new year. A good year after the market launch of the Eos, the Wolfsburg-based company is adding the special edition “Edition 2008” to the production vehicle of the convertible coupé. In contrast to the normal equipment, the new variant features chrome grille louvres and LED taillights in “cherry red”.

Interior in "nappa teak"

Hand was also given to the interior. The sports seats were covered with leather upholstery in “Nappa Teak”. There is also a three-spoke leather steering wheel with aluminum decor and door panels in a leather look. The scope of equipment also includes the “Climatronic” air conditioning system, a cruise control system, the “RCD 500” radio system with eight loudspeakers and the ParkPilot to warn of obstacles in the rear area.

Four petrol engines between 85 kW / 115 PS and 184 kW / 250 PS as well as a diesel engine with 103 kW / 140 PS including a standard diesel particulate filter drive the Eos "Edition 2008". Prices start at 30,925 euros. Compared to the comparable series model, this results in savings of up to 928 euros. (AG)
