First pictures of the model, which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3 to 13), show that the Tiguan is now also taking to the streets with the new, significantly sportier VW face.
The radiator grille, which extends over the entire width of the vehicle, has two chrome double slats and is framed by sharpened, more serious-looking headlights. The bonnet and the side of the vehicle have prominent creases in the sheet metal. As before, the basic engine is the 1.4-liter TSI engine with 90 kW / 122 PS. The Tiguan has been rolling off the production lines since 2007. Since then, the Wolfsburg-based company has delivered 572,000 Tiguan vehicles worldwide. (mid)
