Volvo launches the new V40 in April. The compact-class model will celebrate its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Then you will see Thor's hammer too.

The revised Volvo V40 can be ordered from April. With the facelift, the compact series launched in 2012 has changed, especially in the front view: The daytime running lights "Thors Hammer" introduced with the luxury SUV now also adorn the face of the V40 and the more robust, paneled version V40 Cross Country. Both will celebrate their premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (March 3-13).

Modified radiator grille

In addition, the grille design has been changed slightly and there are new exterior colors, including two new shades of blue. A number of new customization details can also be selected in the interior, for example a black headliner. There are also new connectivity functions, so the vehicle can now be connected to other wearables such as the Apple watch via an app.

With the facelift, the range of engines from the Volvo V40 is expanded to include the T4 engine with 140 kW / 190 hp. There is a choice of four petrol engines (90 kW / 122 PS to 180 kW / 245 PS) and three diesels (88 kW / 120 PS to 140 kW / 190 PS). The prices should remain at the same level, the cheapest V40 currently costs 23,450 euros (SP-X)
