Renault is launching a major recall worldwide. IN Germany, over 80,000 drivers have to park their second generation Megane for two and a half hours in the workshop.
Because of problems with the roof spoiler, many Renault drivers should quickly take their car to an authorized dealer's workshop. The French manufacturer calls back 81,757 copies of the Renault Mégane II Grandtour in Germany because the roof spoiler can fall off while driving. Almost 500,000 vehicles worldwide are affected, said a company spokeswoman. All owners in Germany are also notified by the Federal Motor Transport Authority. The repair work takes about two and a half hours. Renault fixes the bug for free.
