“Share your Bicar AG”, which was founded to implement the project, now wants to have found this. At the same time, those responsible started developing a new prototype. If everything goes well, it is hoped to obtain EU approval within the next one to two years. Then the tricycle could be launched as a new sharing offer in cities in Switzerland and other European countries.
Bicar with a compact design
The Swiss one-person electric vehicle is characterized by its particularly compact design, which only takes up a very small traffic area. In this way, the mini-mobile could at least counteract the problem of the streets overcrowded with cars in many cities. The one-person vehicle is based on a three-wheel chassis with tilt technology. Thanks to the substructure, the all-electric Bicar, which is driven up to 45 km / h, offers a stable stand and safe performance even in poor road conditions. Also important: The driver's cab offers the occupant protection from cold and rain, which allows year-round use.
According to their own statements, some Swiss companies and transport companies have already expressed their interest in promoting the Bicar project as a new sharing offer. Bicars should then be distributed in large numbers in cities and be available there for spontaneous rental. For example, if you arrive by train for a business meeting, you could then travel the last few kilometers from the train station to your appointment with the Bicar - space-saving, emission-free and noise-free.
