In the south of the republic, according to ADAC, the streets in the direction of the winter sports areas will be very busy on the weekend of March 5th to 7th. In Hamburg, on the other hand, spring is heralding itself.
With the beginning of the spring break in Hamburg, the ADAC expects some disabilities on the motorways, especially around the Hanseatic city. Some vacationers will head for the ski slopes of the Alps or drive to the coast. However, there will also be a lot of day and weekend trippers in the direction of the Alps. The home routes also remain loaded. There will be slow traffic and one or two traffic jams on the following routes:
A 1 / A 7 Greater Hamburg
A 3 Frankfurt - Würzburg - Nuremberg
A 5 Frankfurt - Karlsruhe - Basel
A 7 Hamburg - Hanover - Kassel
A 7 Würzburg - Kempten
A 8 Karlsruhe - Stuttgart - Munich - Salzburg
A 9 Nuremberg - Munich
A 93 Inntaldreieck - Kufstein
· A 95 Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The CeBit computer fair attracts visitors to Hanover from March 2nd to 6th. There will be obstacles on the motorways around Hanover, the Messeschnellweg and the access roads to the exhibition grounds. Visitors should switch to public transport.
You should also plan more time for the journey abroad. In Austria, Italy and Switzerland, the ADAC not only expects traffic to slow down on the motorways, but also on the most important federal roads into the ski areas.
The International Motor Show will open in Geneva on Thursday, March 4th. The exhibition lasts until Sunday, March 14th and expects around 700,000 guests by then. Traffic jams will be the order of the day around Geneva. (AG)
