On the routes to and from the winter sports areas, traffic remains very lively even on the weekend from February 27th to March 1st. There will be traffic jams especially in the south of the republic.
The winter sports season keeps the snow hares on their way to or from the slopes on the coming weekend as well. According to the ADAC, the routes in the south will be particularly popular. There are also vacationers from Hamburg. The spring break begins in the Hanseatic city. The traffic club therefore expects slow traffic or traffic jams especially on the following routes:
• Greater Hamburg
• A 1 Hamburg - Bremen - Dortmund - Cologne
• A 3 Cologne - Frankfurt - Würzburg - Nuremberg - Passau
• A 6 Kaiserslautern - Mannheim - Heilbronn - Nuremberg
• A 7 Hamburg - Hanover - Würzburg - Füssen / Reutte
• A 8 Karlsruhe - Stuttgart - Munich - Salzburg
• A 9 Munich - Nuremberg - Berlin
• A 61 Ludwigshafen - Koblenz - Mönchengladbach
• A 93 Inntaldreieck - Kufstein
• A 95 / B 2 Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen
• A 99 Munich bypass
The winter sports areas in neighboring countries are also destinations. In order not to be stuck in a traffic jam at the start of your journey, click on the traffic jam indicator on the Autogazette, which shows the traffic jams on the highways in Germany and updates every five minutes. (AG)
