The first auction of what is said to be the first West car owned by Chancellor Angela Merkel will be auctioned again. Interested parties can submit their bids on Ebay until April 30th.

The car is said to have belonged to Angela Merkel from 1990 to 1995. The vehicle registration document that the seller put on the Internet names the Chancellor as the first owner. Originally, the Berlin owner of the Golf wanted to sell it last Monday. Ebay stopped the auction shortly before the bidding period expired because many bidders were not seriously interested.
