Renault presented the sixth model variant of the new Megane at the Geneva Motor Show. The convertible coupe will probably not remain the only open variant of the French.
Renault is showing the new edition of the Mégane Cabrio-Coupé at the Geneva Motor Show from March 4th to 14th. The French manufacturer announced this in Paris. The fourth variant of the compact model, alongside the five- and three-door and the station wagon, will again be a four-seater with a retractable hardtop and an integrated glass roof. Renault has not yet given details of drive technology, dimensions and prices.
Open Twingo in prospect
The drives will align with the Megane Coupé, said a Renault spokeswoman for Autogazette. The market launch in Germany will take place in June. The prices of the previous model started at 24,200 euros for the 1.6 liter entry-level petrol engine.
However, the CC called Mégane variant is probably not the only open-air model of the French: According to information from corporate circles, an open version of the Twingo small car will also be launched on the market in the summer. (AG / dpa / tmn)
