Lexus gives the CT 200h a sporty look. The performance and consumption of the sporty hybrid, however, are spared.
The Lexus CT 200h F-Sport, the sporty version of the first compact full hybrid vehicle in the premium segment, competes outside and inside with a sharpened design. More than half of all Lexus new orders are for the CT 200h, but the manufacturer is still throwing a few briquettes on the fire: the exterior and interior design of the compact premium full hybrid have been sharpened. The car remains very economical with an average consumption of 4.1 liters / 100 km and CO2 emissions are very low at 94 g / km.
Sports suspension for Lexus CT 200h
Dynamically shaped front and rear bumpers, characteristic honeycomb inserts in the upper and lower grille and eye-catching side skirts are not the only visual identifiers of the Lexus CT 200h. Dark 17-inch alloy wheels and F-Sport emblems on the flanks round off the sporty impression. The enlarged front spoiler also improves aerodynamics.
Door sills with "Lexus" lettering, light metal pedals, an F-Sport steering wheel with a perforated leather cover, a black headliner and sports seats with new upholstery fabrics complete the successful appearance of the clean newcomer. However, the developers didn't just want to sharpen the look. With a new sports suspension, the driving behavior has also been made more agile: coil springs with changed spring rates and sporty shock absorbers are intended to improve driving dynamics.
Lexus CT 200h F-Sport for around 34,000 euros
At the same time, Lexus has further expanded the standard equipment of the F-Sport compared to the standard CT 200: with a cruise control system, the automatically dimming interior mirror with integrated rear-view camera display and a transverse damper system to reduce body vibrations.
A navigation system with map display, heated and electrically adjustable leather seats, LED main headlights, a smart key system and a sliding glass roof are available for an extra charge. The 100 kW / 136 hp hybrid vehicle is expected to cost around 34,000 euros.
