Fiat is showing a beach car study of the 500 convertible at the SEMA tuning fair. Fiat subsidiary Chrysler is putting seven other models on the stand.
Fiat does not only want to encourage US surfers to buy the small car 500 C with a beach car study. The Italian retro mini is now celebrating its premiere as a "Beach Cruiser" study at the SEMA tuning fair in Las Vegas (October 30 to November 2). Chrysler's Mopar accessories department has given the convertible black matt paint, flared fenders and vintage hubcaps. There is also a wooden roof rack for transporting small surfboards. In the interior there are seat covers in a beach towel design and a hula girl for the dashboard.
All Chrysler studies with no chance of series production
The beach Fiat is one of eight tuning models that Fiat subsidiary Chrysler traditionally presents at the Las Vegas trade fair. The upgraded Italian is by far the smallest car.
In addition to it, a more powerful version of the Dodge Ram pickup, a V10 version of the Dodge Charger muscle car and the optically upgraded SRT Viper super sports car will be presented. None of the show cars are available for sale, but individual components will be included in the Mopar range in the future. (SP-X)
