Car batteries give up the ghost, especially in the cold months. The batteries can now be changed via the app without having to visit the workshop.
In the coming months, car batteries will be in high demand and not everyone will survive the cold season. To avoid having to visit the workshop, the Munich software company Carly has now developed an app for changing batteries.
App carries out an in-depth diagnosis of the electronics
The change is explained step by step when the app is connected to an additionally available adapter, which can be returned if you do not like it. A full version offered for sale does not only include the registration of the batteries. At the same time, manufacturer-independent batteries are selected, which saves costs when purchasing the batteries.
At the same time, the app carries out an in-depth diagnosis of the vehicle electronics, as the manufacturer announced. This allows detailed motor parameters to be monitored. With the web-based program “Digital Garage”, a complete error report history can still be created.
So far the app is for BMW, BMW Bikes and Mercedes. According to Carly, other versions for VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Porsche will follow shortly. (AG)
