Given the current price of crude oil, fuel prices are far too high. Motorists in Trier are particularly noticing this at the moment: they have to pay an average of 1.617 euros for a liter of Super E10.
Germany's drivers currently have to pay too much for fuel when they drive to the gas station. According to a survey by the ADAC, the fuel costs are clearly too high in view of the crude oil prices and the dollar exchange rate.
As the automobile club's comparison of cities shows, the price of a liter of Super E10 is 1.60 euros and more in most of the cities examined. In Hamburg you have to pay 1.600 euros and in Munich 1.607 euros.

Super E10 is particularly expensive; Here, drivers have to pay 1.617 euros for this, more than anywhere else in Germany. The cheapest way to refuel is in the Westphalian city of Unna: here the Litr Super E10 costs an average of 1.582 euros. In Unna, the price advantage for diesel is even more pronounced. For a liter you currently have to pay an average of 1.419 euros there, in Trier with 1.459 euros at least four cents more. Just in time for the start of the holidays in five federal states, a liter of Super E10 currently costs a nationwide average of 1.565 euros, which is 1.9 cents more than in the previous week. For a liter of diesel an average of 1.408 euros have to be paid, 1.4 cents more than at the beginning of the week, the ADAC announced on Wednesday.
The ADAC advises paying attention to the prices at different times of the day. Refueling is cheaper, especially in the afternoon or early in the evening.
