According to the latest ADAC evaluation, July was even the cheapest month of the year to fill up. On average, drivers had to pay 1.313 euros for the liter Super E10. A nationwide average of 1.115 euros was due for a liter of diesel.
Fuel price even cheaper last year
According to the automobile club, July 16 was the most expensive tank pack in the past month. The average price was 1.324 euros per liter. On July 30, diesel had to be paid an average of EUR 1.130 per liter. The cheapest was the liter Super E10 on July 11th at a price of 1.301 euros per liter. For petrol drivers, it was also the cheapest day of the year. Diesel had its monthly low on July 4th at 1.101 euros.
Compared to the previous year, the prices are higher. In 2016, fuel was around two cents cheaper: In July 2016, a liter of diesel cost 1.093 euros, for Super E10 drivers had to pay 1.291 euros per liter. (AG)
