Opel is continuing its engine offensive and is presenting a fuel-efficient diesel for the new Corsa. The 1.3 CDTI with 95 PS should only consume 3.1 liters per 100 kilometers.

There is currently nothing more efficient: the new Opel Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFlex should, thanks to its fuel-saving technologies, only consume 3.1 liters per 100 kilometers, as the manufacturer announced on Wednesday. That corresponds to CO2 emissions of just 82 g / km. The Corsa's low consumption is achieved through a new Easytronic 3.0 transmission in combination with a standard start-stop system, braking energy recovery and optional tires with optimized rolling resistance. This means that the Corsa is not only the most economical Opel model, but also the most economical diesel, according to the GM subsidiary.

Efficiency class A +

For particularly price-conscious customers who do not want to forego the convenience of an automatic, our automated five-speed manual transmission in the new Corsa is a real highlight,”says Opel sales manager Peter Christian Küspert. “Together with the frugal diesel, the small one becomes an efficiency giant. It is therefore recommended once again for short shopping trips through the city as well as for cross-country

trips.” The well-known but fundamentally revised diesel engine provides 95 hp in the new Opel Corsa with a maximum torque of 190 Newton meters at 1750 to 2500 tours and brings it to the best efficiency class A +. (AG)
