The Ingolstadt car manufacturer Audi started the fourth quarter with a sales increase of almost 14 percent. The Q3, Q5 and Q7 SUV models in particular boosted sales.

The VW subsidiary Audi was able to significantly increase worldwide sales in October. With 123,600 vehicles delivered to customers, sales grew by 13.6 percent compared to the same month last year, as the company announced on Wednesday. The Ingolstadt-based company particularly benefited from the strong demand for the Q3, Q5 and Q7 SUV models and the A5 series.
