VW invites you to a fuel-saving competition. The winners of the multi-stage fuel sparathon receive a BlueMotion model from Wolfsburg as a prize and qualify for an international rally.
Volkswagen heralds the Think Blue fuel sparathon. Participants can apply for the multi-stage national fuel-saving competition until May 20th. The winning team receives a Golf BlueMotion as the main prize. "The fuel sparathon is an expression of our Think Blue attitude. We want to work with our customers to open up possibilities and ways of making driving more efficient and therefore more environmentally friendly," says Matthias Becker, Head of Marketing Germany at Volkswagen Passenger Cars.

Interested parties can apply for a total of six regional competitions on the website www.mythinkblue.de until Friday of the coming week. The prerequisite is the submission of a CO2 saving tip that will be checked by experts from the Naturschutzbund Deutschland (NABU) and Volkswagen.
In the regional competitions, too, it's not just about driving, but also about knowledge in a quiz. The two regional winners qualify for the Germany finals. There, the teams have to set off together in economical BlueMotion models on a trip from Wolfsburg to Berlin and master a number of tests on the subject of the environment and sustainability. The winner is the team that does best in all disciplines. The main prize for the winning team is a Golf BlueMotion and participation in the international fuel sparathon rally this September. (AG)
