Fuel prices in June were higher than they have been this year. At the same time, Super E10 also reached an annual high shortly before the end of the month.
The prices for gasoline and diesel had held their highest level of the year in June. A liter of Super E 10 cost a monthly average of 1.558 euros, more expensive than ever this year, as the ADAC announced. In the cheapest month to date, January, an average of 7.2 cents less had to be paid per liter.
Petrol reaches its high for the year
While the price of petrol is subject to high fluctuations, the price of diesel is developing quite evenly. Between the price in June with an average of 1.385 euros per liter and March, the cheapest month, was just 1.6 cents.
The most expensive day was June 28th. Last Saturday, the gasoline price even reached the annual high of 1.576 euros. Diesel was also the most expensive at 1.399 euros, but had already celebrated its annual high on January 1 at 1.426 euros.
It is also worthwhile to compare the prices of the individual petrol stations and to refuel even when the tank is still half full. (AG)
