With sports car details, Audi sends the Q3 RS into the starting position for the winter half-year. And yet the sporty SUV should be more economical than other RS models.
Audi is also offering the Q3 SUV as an RS model at the beginning of winter. The 228 kW / 310 hp sporty top version from the company's own Quattro GmbH will go on sale in November at prices from 54,600 euros, the manufacturer announced at the vehicle presentation in Kitzbühel. While the conventional Q3 can only be ordered with four-cylinder engines, the lower, more tightly tuned RS Q3 uses the 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo that Audi is already installing in the TT Coupé.
Limited top speed
Absolutely limited The unit develops a maximum torque of 420 Newton meters and accelerates the compact off-road vehicle from standstill to 100 km / h in 5.5 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km / h and, unlike the other RS models, cannot be increased for a surcharge. With 8.8 liters of standard consumption (CO2 emissions: 206 g / km), the Q3 is one of the most economical RS models in the Audi range. (dpa)
