Stable passenger cell in the Fabia praised
“When developing the new Skoda Fabia, it was our aim to bring top-level safety to the small car segment,” said Skoda Development Director Frank Welsch. "The top rating of five stars confirms this goal from independent experts and shows that the new Skoda Fabia is one of the safest small cars on the market." According to the manufacturer, the testers particularly emphasized the stable passenger cell of the Skoda Fabia.
In the new Skoda Fabia, among other things, driver assistance systems such as a front radar assistant with an integrated emergency braking function are used. The system uses radar to constantly monitor the distance to the traffic ahead and intervenes if the distance is too short. This ranges from a warning to an automatic emergency braking. Fatigue detection is also used in the Fabia. (AG / FM)
