The Corsa follows after the Insignia. Opel is now also launching a sporty GSi version of its small car. The Rüsselsheim-based carmaker has not yet given any information on the performance of the Corsa GSi.
The GSi variant will probably not have as much power as the uncompromisingly trimmed Corsa OPC with 207 hp, but it will be on the road with the genes of the top athlete. Among other things, the GSi is on the road on the sports suspension of its brother Corsa OPC.

Opel is accordingly self-confident. “We are continuing our long GSi tradition with the new Corsa GSi. There was already an extra sporty version of the first Corsa, which is now a sought-after young timer. Our new one will set standards in the segment with its OPC sports suspension,”says Opel sales manager Peter Küspert with certainty. Opel recently launched the Insignia GSi.
Opel Corsa GSi with subtle roof spoiler
The small car from the Rüsselsheim-based company definitely looks good: it is not only on the road with large air inlets and a shaped bonnet, but also with carbon elements. In addition to its sports suspension, there is also a distinctive roof spoiler. It provides additional downforce. In the interior, the driver takes a seat on Recaro sports seats and holds a sports steering wheel in his or her hands and engages six gears with a leather gear knob.
So that everyone can quickly see that a powerful small car is on the road, the Corsa GSi also has red brake calipers behind the 18-inch alloy wheels. Opel did not provide any information on the price.
