Honda is undoubtedly one of the currently most active developers of alternative concepts for the drive. The first fuel cell cars have already been delivered to private customers in the USA.
The Japanese automaker Honda will show several new models with alternative drive concepts at the Paris Motor Show from October 4th to 19th. The world premiere of the family car Insight Concept is among the hybrid vehicles with combustion and electric motors. The revised version of the compact car Civic Hybrid and the sports car study CR-Z Hybrid can also be seen. As the company announced in Offenbach on Tuesday, the Insight Concept will be the first of three new hybrid vehicles that will be presented over the next four years.
Hybrid by leasing
With the FCX Clarity model, Honda is also presenting a fuel cell vehicle in Paris that was delivered to some private individuals in the USA at the beginning of August. During the first three years of production, the company plans to give around 200 of these hydrogen cars to leasing customers in the USA and Japan. The leasing period is three years with a monthly rate of 600 US dollars (around 400 euros) including maintenance and insurance. (dpa)
