Opel is now also offering the new petrol engine in the Zafira Tourer. The direct injection rounds off the range at the top.
Opel equips the Zafira Tourer with a new top engine. With the 1.6 SIDI Turbo (SIDI = Spark Ignition Direct Injection), which celebrated its premiere in the Cascada convertible, the van has 125 kW / 170 PS and a maximum torque of 280 Newton meters, which is already available at 1650 rpm. "Our new 1.6-liter downsized engine is the starting shot for the all-round renewal of our drive portfolio. The engine shines with powerful propulsion even in the lower speed range, but is particularly quiet and environmentally friendly," says Opel Development Board Member Mike Ableson.
Opel Zafira Tourer 1.6 SIDI Turbo in 9.2 seconds to 100
According to Opel, the direct injection gasoline engine needs 6.6 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of over 154 grams per kilometer. The Zafira Tourer completes the sprint in 9.2 seconds and has a top speed of 212 km / h.
Together with the new unit, the new generation of six-speed manual transmissions is also finding its way into the Zafira Tourer. A six-speed automatic system can also be selected as an option.
The prices for the Zafira Tourer 1.6 SIDI Turbo start at 28,155 euros, with the automatic at 29,450 euros. The van with the new engine can be ordered immediately and should be delivered before the beginning of summer. (AG)
