B&B shows the dark side of power in the VW T6. The current Bulli version naturally offers a lot of space and utility - and up to 400 hp.
Bulli friends particularly value space and utility. But many a T6 driver should also dream of a sovereign propulsion, which VW does not have on offer. Tuner B&B can remedy this and even enable a huge 294 kW / 400 PS.
As usual with B&B, five levels of performance improvement are offered. The gasoline version 2.0 TSI alone serves as the basiswhich allows a sprint time of 9.7 seconds and a top speed of 198 km / h at the factory with 150 kW / 204 PS and 350 Newton meters of torque. A simple chip tuning from B & B can already increase the power to 191 kW / 260 PS and 420 Newton meters. Cost: 1500 euros. 210 kW / 286 PS are available for around 3000 euros. B&B has to revise the engine peripherals a little more extensively in the 320 PS escalation stage, which costs a good 8,000 euros, while a 350 PS version devours around 13,000 euros.
VW T6 sprints in 5.8 seconds
If it should be the 400 PS and 600 Newton meters mentioned at the beginning, the tuner demands 24,000 euros. For this purpose, B&B installs larger turbochargers, a high-pressure petrol pump, high-performance charge air cooler and a sports exhaust system with a special exhaust pipe and sports catalytic converters. In addition, intake and air ducts are being revised, boost pressure is being increased, and the injection maps and the DSG transmission are being adapted. And finally, a special oil cooling system is installed so that the oil temperature is always in the green range. With this package, the T6 completes a sprint in 5.8 seconds and allows a maximum of 230 km / h.
In order to better bring the performance boost to the road, B&B of course also offers a sports chassis, a high-performance brake system and larger wheels with a diameter of 19 or even 20 inches. (SP-X)
