The workshop chain ATU intends to increasingly address corporate customers in the future. For this purpose, the tire, glass service and small repairs area was expanded.
The ATU automotive workshop chain offers more services for corporate customers. The tire and glass service and small repairs were expanded. The latter is primarily intended for leasing vehicles so that they can be returned after the contract expires without high additional charges.
Company cars that travel 30-000 kilometers and more annually usually have high average costs due to tire wear, glass damage, body dents and scratches on the paintwork. With the fleet service business area, ATU now wants to offer a cost-effective alternative in all of these areas.
ATU has 600 locations in Germany
The chain includes over 600 locations throughout Germany. All branches would have a large range of tires and rims that could be accessed through a flat tire rate. In addition to the replacement of winter and summer tires, the package includes: all new assemblies, seasonal wheel changes and tire storage. And this in each case based on parallel running car leasing or financing contracts.
Cost savings for companies can be achieved by specifying tire brand, tire dimensions and rims. In the online portal, fleet customers can place their tire orders and make appointments for tire fitting and changing.
In the area of glass service, each branch has its own team that is exclusively responsible for repairing and replacing vehicle windows. "As a partner to leading insurance companies, we take care of billing for our customers," explains Managing Director Manfred Ries.
ATU-Smart-Repair offers small repairs of dents and paint damage "at a low price". A service that should generate a lot of interest from companies. Because small damage is often very expensive, especially with leasing vehicles. Quite a few leasing companies would ask their customers to pay properly after the contract expires. According to the ADAC, the increased back payments were like a rip-off. (mid)
