Europe's largest car manufacturer, Volkswagen, continued its successful course in the German major customer business with its brands VW, Skoda, Seat and Audi in the first nine months of the year. In the fleet segment, which includes fleets of ten or more vehicles, the company was able to sell 140,053 vehicles. This corresponds to an increase of 1.3 percent, as the group announced.
Passat and Golf most popular models
With a look at the internal brand ranking, Audi was able to take the lead among the premium providers with an increase of 17.4 percent and 43,287 registered vehicles. With 79,904 registered vehicles, the core brand VW continues to be number one in the brand ranking. Skoda was the best importer with 13,477 vehicles, Seat with 3,385 new registrations.
At the model level, the VW Group was able to celebrate a quadruple success. The Passat, the Golf, the Audi iA4 and the A6 took first to fourth place. (AG / FM)
